Modiac AVI Converter

Modiac AVI Converter is a commercial video converter. It can be used to convert video files of different formats into AVI files.

The app should allow you to open all the major video formats, including MP4, AVI, MKV, WMV, RM, QT, MOV, SWF, FLV, MPEG-2, VOB, and ISO. Those files can be converted into video files that will use the .AVI container and can be encoded using MPEG-4, ZJMedia MPEG-4, XviD, H.264 / AVC, MPEG-4 Microsoft variant version 3, H.263 and Motion JPEG.

The first window that will appear when you launch the application acts as a drop zone. You can simply drag the files that you want to convert onto this window and they will be added to your conversion queue. Additionally, you can use the "Add file" button. The next window will show all the files in your queue, and the conversion settings at the bottom. You can customize the conversion settings to the "T" if you click on "Advanced".

In short, this is a very nice converter which works well and has very customizable conversion settings. It has a trimmer, but it lacks a fully-features video editor.
